Developing thin energy storage cells requires current collectors that survive continuous mechanical flexion without losing electrical contact. Standard planar metal substrates often crack under repetitive bending, which increases internal resistance and degrades electrode performance. Implementing a 3d graphene foam structure solves this interface failure by combining continuous electron pathways ...

30 PPI Foam Selection Guide for Thermal & Flow Systems Selecting the right pore density often stalls engineering projects when flow resistance clashes with heat dissipation targets. Choosing 30 ppi foam resolves this bottleneck by balancing fluid permeability with high accessible surface area. Standard fine-pore substrates cause excessive pressure drop in high-velocity streams. In contrast, 30...

Procurement teams face constant trade-offs between pressure drop and adsorption speed when selecting filtration media. Granular beds often settle, cause channeling, and demand excessive fan power. In contrast, activated carbon foam combines an open interconnected skeleton with micro-porosity to deliver fast mass transfer at high face velocities. Sourcing the right grade requires balancing pore met...

Procurement teams often face inconsistent pore uniformity and trace oxidation when sourcing functional materials for electrode development. High-purity ag foam solves this by combining continuous ligaments with outstanding electrical conductivity. Selecting the right supplier requires evaluating open-cell porosity, sheet dimensions, and batch purity. This practical review examines material benchma...
